The Vikay range of Intelligent Graphic display modules combine state of the art display, driver and controller chip technology in a form readily understood and easily used. By integrating circuitry and components that the user would normally expect to supply, the designer is offered simplified product design, low cost, increased reliability and considerable-space savings. The Super Twist Nematic Liquid Crystal Display (STN LCD) provides high contrast and excellent legibility under all lighting conditions using the integrated backlight systems offered. Either electro-luminescent or LED backlight technology. The built-in Temperature Compensation Circuit is provided to maintain excellent display contrast and performance over a wide operating temperature range. The use of low power CMOS circuitry makes the modules ideally suited to portable equipment. A wide choice of matrix formats and modules sizes ensures that most design needs can be fulfilled using standard Vikay products. |
